Award winning company The Latebloomers gives a one-day workshop in physical comedy and clowning! We’ll explore various exercises and clowning techniques developed at the Jacques Lecoq International Theatre School in Paris. The day will include: 1. Relaxation and tension – Exploring neutral and expressive movement 2. Searching for our inner idiot! – Play, rhythm, and clown improvisations 3. A fun, stimulating course open to all levels of experience. Over 10 weeks we will explore a range of techniques for creating a scene,
developing a character and building confidence on stage. Participants will come away with an understanding of various approaches to
improvisation for theatre that were developed by renowned actor, director and teacher Jacques Lecoq.
